The Liebieghaus in Frankfurt am Main is one of the most important sculpture collections in Europe. On the occasion of the redesign of the interior, the elaborate overview volume with masterpieces was published. Objects from Egyptian and East Asian art, Greek and Roman antiquity, early medieval ivory work, Romanesque crucifixes and Madonnas, Gothic altar figures, famous Renaissance statues and reliefs as well as Baroque busts and works of classicism are on display.
